Hello!
So this is about tattoos. Obviously. While I don't have any quite yet, I am definitely getting these quotes from two incredible people tattooed onto me:
"where some try to trap you, many more are working to set you free" -Paige B.
"...and he was happy" -Kelsey R.
These were huge for me, during a very tumultuous time period of my life (about when this account started) and I cannot erase those impactful words or people. 
However, I've always wanted poetry tattooed, be it lines or full poems, and maybe even my own words. The issue is that I really don't know/remember what I love about many writings, and maybe you guys can help.
What poetry do you love? What lines? Whose work? Is it your own work?

A QUESTION
Hey hey hey!
Yes, I've been somewhat MIA again, apologies! I've been working 'round the clock to pay for top surgery (look that up, folks, it's one of those medical things related to this whacky think called being transgender). And CHEERS I'm halfway there! I am going to have to pay around $10,000 for this thing (travel expenses included), which is insanity isn't it? Insurance companies aren't a huge fan of this medical condition. Oh well.
So as I'm halfway there and also pretty much going crazy with the stress of my situation, I was wondering if anyone had any feedback on the idea of creating a kickstarter or one of those fundraiser things

An Apple and Kindness
Today, something so incredibly sweet and wonderful happened to me.
Seriously.
So, here it is:
I am a speaker at this all-day anti-bullying thing for the freshmen at my school. I will be speaking of my experiences and asking the students to stop and think before they assume (likely wrongly) about someone, and also simultaneously coming out to 1,000 freshmen. Crazy!
I have to practice my speech with some speech people to get it right in the auditorium, which is what I was doing today. While I was standing on the stage and talking, a man was cleaning up the auditorium, part of the staff in the school.

Yay tattoos! I haven't done anything with words yet, but I plan to eventually. Right now I have a three leaf clover on my right hip as a representation of my heritage(plus my love for all Irish things). Later on I would like a fleur de lis for the French side. I also saw this really cool tattoo that was a music staff tied in a bow around a gal's leg that I would like to do with music from Rhapsody in Blue by Gershwin. I also want to get something with sparrows or birds in general, but I don't know how I want it just yet.

It's really hard to suggest poems/lyrics to anyone because they affect everyone differently depending on their individual situations. I always thought it best to choose something that you feel you can grow from and find strength in to be yourself.
I can understand wanting to get something based on a current feeling or ordeal, but you have to think about whether you'd want it as a reminder in the future. Especially if it was the result of something negative.
